Olá!

Nice to meet you! I am Ju.

I'm a Brazilian creative working as a Executive Creative Director at VML in London. I was born in Campinas, a city with more than 1 million people, but it still feels like a charming village in the Brazilian countryside. My passion for exploring the world has taken me across five countries – Brazil, Germany, the UAE, Spain, and the UK – where I've worked with renowned agencies such as Jung von Matt, Leo Burnett, Publicis, Ogilvy, Uncommon and now, VML London.

Currently based in London, I create global campaigns for Boots and No7. Before joining VML, I was at Uncommon, where I developed impactful campaigns for British Airways, The Ordinary, and Quaker. Prior to that, I worked for four years at Ogilvy London on Unilever’s portfolio, focusing primarily on Dove, where I led several award-winning campaigns, including Courage is Beautiful, Reverse Selfie, As Early as Five, and the most recent 10x10.

At Publicis Madrid, I created IKEA’s Real Life Series, which became the IKEA’s most-shared campaign of all time and won multiple Cannes Lions, positioning Publicis as one of the top creative agencies in Spain.

Before moving to Spain, I spent four years as Regional Creative Director at Ogilvy Dubai, leading 15 offices across the Middle East and North Africa. During this time, I developed the “It’s That Affordable” campaign for IKEA, which became one of the most-awarded campaigns globally, as recognized by the Gunn Report in 2016. I also worked with iconic brands such as Volkswagen, Coca-Cola, Vodafone, Burger King, and Pfizer. Under my leadership, IKEA Saudi Arabia achieved its first-ever awards, including three Gold Lions and five D&AD pencils.

While I’m passionate about ideas, I also love travelling, sparkling water with lemon, Fridays, cinema, and anything that makes me laugh. Bringing people together is what I enjoy most.
