My name is Juliana Paracencio. I´m from Campinas, a city with more than 1 million inhabitants, but that feels like a village in the Brazilian countryside. I always felt the world was too big to stay there my whole life, so I decided to explore our big blue planet. You are probably thinking I got my backpack and went to Antarctica, but I actually started much closer, some kilometers away from Campinas, in São Paulo. In the big Brazilian metropolis, I got my Bachelor Degree in Communication and the experience in one of the best advertising agencies in the world: Leo Burnett. During my time at Leo, I have made some really good work, enough to win some awards and be called to work in Germany. Wow, now that is a big step!
At Leo Burnett in Frankfurt, at Y&R in Berlin and at Jung von Matt in Hamburg, I had the chance to meet the many facets of such a beautiful and diverse country. Germany fascinated me so much that I even married a German. I also experienced how work and clients are in a network agency, as well as a German agency, but managed to be successful in all of them. Jung von Matt Hamburg was a great school for me.
Recently I accepted the challenge of moving from Hamburg to Dubai, and so far I love it. I'm very excited to be part of Memac Ogilvy, as Regional Associate Creative Director.
